Bubbly Curtain

In my spare time including standing in line at the bank, watching TV I don't really want to watch, waiting for late people, waiting for appointments to be over, and eating lunch at work--yeah, spare time--I have managed to get a little progress on the bubbly curtain from the Mason Dixon Knitting book. Since this picture was taken, I think I've knitted about seven more inches. It's destined to hang right next to my front door so random freaks and/or bad guys can't look inside to see what I'm up to...

The more I knit it, the more I like it.
I have something else to show, but it's a secret-pal gift and I can't reveal it yet.

Happy Birthday B

B's birthday was yesterday. I love him more and more every year. Next birthday we spend together will be in New York. There's more to this story. I'm very lucky to be loved by him.

Finished another zipper bag, too.

But I can't read Japanese!

New book, new ideas. The only problem is that it is written in Japanese?Korean?Chinese? (can't be sure...) Anyway, there are some AWESOME ideas in this book: Machine Made Patchworks. I.love.this.book.

Here's the first item in a long list of items I would like to make. I especially liked this pattern because it's most like some of the things I've already made. I'm giving this to one of the Polish interns at my job. (not the $20 bill, let's not get crazy...)

Quilt Top

Here's evidence that I really DO still sew. :) The quilt top is done!
Other evidence of my life, too. The other 90% of my time is spent working and trying deparately to keep myself sane.
